Job Description

The Practice Manager is responsible for working with the Site Medical Director and CEO to ensure all clinical and non-clinical team members get the resources they need to perform their duties in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.


Duties Include:

  Maintain adequate staffing for efficient operation of the practice.

  Ensure employees receive proper on boarding and in-service training, and monitoring of each team member’s performance.

  Create and implement quality improvement plans and foster a culture that promote staff retention.

  Coordinate regular team meetings and send re caps to the team.

  Promote a harmonious team culture that aligns with the program mission and ensures high staff job satisfaction.

 Ensure operations run smoothly daily. This includes promoting positive patient experiences, reviews, team members job satisfaction, workplace efficiency, shorter wait times, and completion of tasks.

Troubleshoot problems such as non-working equipment, patient complaints, inefficiencies, workplace conflicts, and other items that may disrupt operations.

Ensure program is in compliance with all local, state and Federal regulations. Ensure certificates and licenses are renewed in a timely manner.

Keep program in a state of readiness for all inspections.
Conduct patient surveys, analyze the data and prepare  annual performance evaluation for presentation to the Board.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelors degree required Master s preferred

 3 years of working as a practice manager will be a plus.

 Managing more than 10 employees
 Human Resource experience
  Any kind of EHR knowledge is a plus Skills

  • Working knowledge of medical billing and insurance protocols
  • Knowledge of patient care protocols, procedures, regulations, and standards
  • Thorough understanding of medical front office operations including reception/registration, scheduling, determination of eligibility, prior authorizations, and collection of copays/outstanding patient balances
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills
  • Ability to make effective administrative/procedural decisions and recommendation
  •  Understanding of fiscal management principles and procedures Reports to Executive team
