Richwood is hiring a Solidworks drafter/modeler.  The primary duties of this position include but are not limited to: Mechanical Engineering Design and Drafting for production parts and quotes. Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans mechanical drawings by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specifications, and supporting documents and conferring with engineers and sales team.
• Produce quality manufacturing drawings for the production of assemblies and parts.
• Create three-dimensional solid model design layouts.
• Prepares supporting information by developing bills of materials, standard parts, and fasteners.
• Revise existing engineering drawings per Engineering Change Request/Notification (ECR/N).
• Check engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform any other required department tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Education and Experience:

•          A two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology (or similar) with 2+ years of practical drafting/modeling work experience.
