SAFE Insurance Company and Inland Mutual Ins. Co. are currently seeking to hire a motivated individual in property casualty underwriting/ risk management at our office in Huntington, WV. Successful candidates need strong IT and communication skills.

Experience in property insurance and/or P&C license required. On the job training will be provided.

Essential Job Functions

Policy Evaluation: review insurance policies and determine the appropriate coverage limits, terms, and premiums based on the risk assessment. Ensure that the policies align with the company's underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

· Process endorsements within specified authority or route to appropriate underwriter

· Back up New Business preparation tech as needed

· Review renewal applications and submissions for changes and exposure differences

· Back up underwriters with identifying accounts with claims review need

· Request additional information from agents as needed

· Assists with additional underwriting renewal projects as needed

· Back up to assist with renewal notices and mailings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
