Parts Associate

H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle. Like a mix of road time and parts and inventory work? We're looking for a Parts Associate for our Huntington, WV location! The Parts Associate picks up and delivers parts, sometimes driving longer distances. Other duties include receiving parts, organizing stock, and keeping inventory records accurate.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare parts for service jobs, customer orders, and internal requests
• Receive incoming parts, verify quantities, and report shortages or damaged items
• Stock parts in designated locations and maintain an organized parts department
• Pick up parts from vendors and deliver parts between locations or to job sites as directed
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of parts received and issued
• Coordinate with parts and service staff to help keep repairs moving efficiently
• Keep parts storage areas clean and accessible
• Follow company safety procedures and properly use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clear driving record
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for inventory and recordkeeping
• Parts, warehouse, or equipment experience preferred
• Willingness to learn parts procedures and equipment handling practices

Work Environment This position involves working in the parts department and driving for parts pickups and deliveries. Duties require standing, walking, bending, and handling parts and supplies, with appropriate lifting equipment or assistance when needed. Benefits
