Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Crew Leader for our Natural Gas operations in Huntington, West Virginia. Our Natural Gas Utility Construction Team is managing strong growth, and we're looking for Crew Leaders to be part of the safest utility construction Team in the U.S.

The purpose of a Crew Leader at Team Fishel is to assist the project Foreman by managing the daily job site situations, maintaining a safe and accident free working environment, and being accountable for quality and productivity. Natural Gas utility OQ certifications (Operator Qualifications) strongly preferred.

Team Fishel is the leader in the gas utility construction industry in West Virginia. A Class-A CDL is a plus .

Responsibilities:

• Review plans and permits
• Establish daily crew goals
• Communicate with customer
• Assign job duties
• Monitor progress
• Evaluate Teammates' performance and provide coaching

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License strongly preferred
• Competent Person Training in Trenching and Excavation
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is desired
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work related experience
• Three years related experience in construction
• Ability to communicate with Teammates and customers
• Backhoe, Trencher Operator is desired

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
