Cook Position

Qualifications: Must meet all West Virginia State requirements and successfully complete required Cook certification tests. Must currently hold or have previously held Cook classification. Must be an active employee of Lincoln County Schools.

Position Details: Compensation: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 hours per day after the regular cook shift Timekeeping: Employees must use the Celeritime system to clock in and out.

Responsibilities: Complete required food safety checks and adhere to HACCP procedures. Order groceries and maintain adequate inventory for afterschool meals. Plan production to meet program needs. Accurately record daily production and meal counts.

Program Information: Start Date: August 14, 2026 (Prep/Training Day) First Day with Students: August 17, 2026 Duration: Program will operate through the end of the school year. Funding Source: Food Service Funds (CACFP)
