Store Manager at Hot TopicAt Hot Topic, we're passionate about music, pop culture, and creating the most amazing in‑store experience for our customers and employees. We're looking for a Store Manager who will bring fandom to life, lead the store to achieve sales targets, recruit, develop, and manage performance. You'll be a retail maverick who can handle anything that comes your way, believes in developing talent, and provides the best customer service.What You'll DoEnsure that your store achieves the sales plan and/or comp sales goals.Recruit, develop, and retain a super collaborative and passionate team to run your store alongside you.Lead the brand through customer engagement on social media, web applications, and clienteling.Maintain an operationally sound business with strong organizational structure, delegation, and customer‑first selling practices.Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors that affect business.Collaboratively communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit targets.Adapt to new technologies, communicate company policies & procedures, and control supply ownership.Merchandise the store compellingly, leveraging planograms and launching promos on time.Build a bench of equally talented staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback.What You'll NeedAt least 1–2 years of retail store management experience; strong communication, recruiting, and operations skills.High school diploma or GED equivalent.
