Job Title: Arcade Game TechLocation: Malibu Jack's Ashland, KYPosition Type: Part TimeJob SummaryArcade Game Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the attractions and arcade games. With direction from the technical manager, they perform all preventative maintenance on machines and fix machines that are broken. During operational hours, they also answer calls about games not functioning properly, maintain stocking levels in instant win games, and keep the facility clean.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle calls on the game floor, bowling, and simulators.Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines.Inform Technical Manager of potential machine problems.Assess every game every week.Complete weekly projects and tasks.Complete weekly maintenance sheets as assigned by Technical Manager.Complete weekly cleaning checklist.Maintain a neat and orderly workshop.Ensure that all self-contained games are stocked with prizes.Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff follow all safety rules.Maintain game appearance and stocking throughout open hours.Other duties as assigned.EducationNo prior experience or training required; some mechanical background preferred.Working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office professional.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and employees.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of fractions, weight measurement, volume, and distance.QualificationsMust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.RequirementsArcade Game Technicians must have a technical disposition, natural attention to detail, willingness to learn, self‑drive, and technical mindedness.Position requires consistent activity such as walking, bending, and lifting.Must be able to work holidays and weekends.Employment may require a background check.Five Star Park & Attractions is an equal opportunity employer.
