?Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 + per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience.
Job description: Join a fast-paced component and fabricator shop in Chesapeake, OH, where precision and craftsmanship matter! The company is seeking a MIG Welder to work on a variety of projects, fabricating and welding components to exact specifications. The company is willing to train the right candidate, so a basic understanding of welding and a solid foundation are all that's required. This is a temp-to-hire position with overtime available after 30 days. Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components for various projects
- Read and follow blueprints and project specifications
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Learn and apply new welding techniques as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Basic understanding and foundation in welding
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Ability to read basic blueprints preferred
- Must provide your own steel-toed boots and welding hood/helmet
- Other PPE and welding equipment provided
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety
