Accompaniment Of Children During School Lunch Break

Job Description

Under the responsibility of the Sector Coordinator and in collaboration with the Director of the Collective Reception of Minors, you accompany children during the midday school break.

You ensure their physical, emotional, and moral safety, and contribute to their development through various missions:

• Supervise children during the transfer between school and the dining place ensuring their safety,
• Supervise children during meals,
• Explain and enforce the rules of collective life to the children,
• Contribute to the nutritional balance within the school lunch program,
• Encourage the discovery of new tastes and foods.

• Design and animate varied activities adapted to the age and autonomy level of the children,
• Accompany the children in the realization of the activities,
• Ensure constant respect of hygiene and safety rules, guaranteeing a serene and safe environment for all.

• Propose, prepare, and implement activities in coherence with the educational project,
• Work in team: participate in meetings, exchange ideas, co-construct animations…,
• Welcome parents and exchange with them according to the organization of the structure.

Skills:

• Knowledge of different playful supports (design and use),
• Experience in animation and management of play spaces,
• Capacities of initiative, adaptation, and organization sense.

Desired Diploma:

• BAFA or possibility of training without advance payment,
• CPJEPS,
• CQP Periscolaire Animator,
• CAP AEPE,
• Licence STAPS,
• DE Educator Monitor, or equivalent.

To Know:

• The number of hours per school week is: 8.5 hours,
• The typical hours are: 11:45 - 13:30 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays) + 0.5 hour of weekly meeting,
• The number of hours is annualized, the defined period is from September to August of the following year, and a monthly base is defined with an intermittent premium paid at the end of the period.
