Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Casual Athletic Trainer .Duties during the school year would include, but not limited to the following:Management of the daily operations of athletic training rooms as availableDeveloping, tracking, and appropriate documenting rehabilitation programsEvaluation & appropriate documentation of injuriesReferrals to appropriate physiciansEquipment upkeep (e.g. modalities and rehabilitation equipment electrical safety)Inspect equipment regularlySchedule yearly safety/electrical checkManage expendable suppliesInventoryBid requestsBudgetary requestsAppropriate storage and tracking of medicationsCoordinate physician visits as they are availableGame coverageWeekly on-campus coverageDevelop athletic training room policy and proceduresMust comply with state and national OSHA regulationsHIPAA Policy and other privacy act policiesProvide game and practice medical coverageDevise appropriate coverage protocolsAll practices are to covered by the athletic trainerAll games are to be covered by the athletic trainerSupplemental coverage can be provided by graduate assistant athletic trainer(s)#J-18808-Ljbffr
