Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage. Acts to deter any agent or element from jeopardizing persons or property in or about the hotel's facilities. Qualifications. High school graduate or equivalent; college degree or vocational training a plus. Must be 21 or over. Clean driving record required. Minimum 1-year prior experience in a similar position of dealing with the general public. Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision. Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out job duties. Ability to ensure security all persons and property.
