A globally recognized ethicist, author, educator, and advisor working at the intersection of ethics, leadership, and governance is looking for a primarily remote executive assistant. The principal travels a lot, including California and London and will need assistance outside of normal business hours to assist with any traveling hitches. The principal will communicate via WhatsApp, text or email. The principal lectures and is also on multiple boards. There are often a lot of last-minute changes to the schedule. They use a travel company when booking travel so that will make it less cumbersome. There will be occasional meetings with the principal at her home office in New York City on Park Avenue. Her current EA has been in the position for 4 years.
About the Job:
¨ Coordinate and prioritize meetings for the CEO
¨ Vet and prioritize the CEO's emails
¨ Compose and prepare confidential correspondence
¨ Prepare materials for meetings; internal, Board, client meetings and speaking engagements
¨ Serve as the first point of contact for the principal
¨ Maintain a busy calendar and prioritize on CEO's behalf and make sure the CEO's day runs smoothly
¨ Coordinate complex travel arrangements including last-minute changes (a travel agency assists)
¨ Off-hour availability required
About You:
¨ Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a CEO
¨ BA/BS from a college or university
¨ Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
¨ Strong communication skills: written and verbal
¨ Strategic thinker
¨ Understand the importance of confidentiality and trust when supporting a CEO
¨ Dynamic and proactive comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
¨ Polished, professional demeanor and the gravitas to interact with high-level executives
¨ Outstanding communication skills
