Provides health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing Magnetic Resonance procedures to be interpreted by a Radiologist, exercising professional judgment in performance of MRI services, maintaining a professional demeanor complimentary to medical ethics, providing appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions for completion of the highest quality MRI examination. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Verifies order and patient prior to examination, obtain patient s clinical history, reads chart/outpatient referral slip and interviews and communicates information to patient or appropriate family member. Overall performance of below indicated essential job duties: Screens all patients and medical personnel for MRI safety compatibility. Applies principles of MRI safety to minimize risk of patient, self and others.
