What You'll do

The Recovery Associate is essential to maintaining the store's appearance and organization. The role centers on returning merchandise to the sales floor, keeping shelves stocked, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Welcome customers within a ten-foot radius.
• Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Provide high-quality customer service for an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Organize, restock, and arrange products to create effective displays.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of featured products and their store locations.
• Complete the daily recovery process for assigned departments.
• Keep the department clean and organized, including wiping shelves and sweeping underneath.
• Follow Indoor Merchandising Guide standards for the relevant department.
• Ensure bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.
• Demonstrate safety protocols and proper material handling techniques.
• Utilize office equipment like telephones, copy machines, and computers.
• Operate retail equipment such as handheld devices, pallet jacks, and ladders.
• Participate in cross-training for various departments and responsibilities.
• Engage in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to customers and colleagues, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods.
• Able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
• Comfortable using a ladder and/or pallet jack.
• Able to navigate and access all areas of the facility.
• Effective verbal communication skills, both in-person and through electronic devices.
• Close vision required for computer-related tasks.
