ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Experience Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest interactions are nothing short of exceptional. You will engage with guests, enhance their experiences, and provide assistance across a variety of services and solutions. Your commitment to making shopping easy and enjoyable will empower our guests, encouraging their loyalty to Target.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming environment as you execute daily tasks.

• Assist guests in a friendly manner to resolve their needs and enhance their shopping experience.

• Communicate current promotions, store activities, and events to keep guests informed.

• Utilize your store knowledge to assist guests effectively with products and services.

• Thank guests sincerely and express appreciation for their choice to shop with us.

• Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist them with sign-ups as needed.

• Efficiently scan and bag items while adhering to food safety standards.

• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining high-quality service standards.

• Educate guests on using the Target App, including features like Wallet.

• Assist with Order Pick-Up and Drive-Up services, guiding guests through the processes.

• Handle returns according to policies and collaborate with leaders to resolve issues.

• Ensure a clean work area by clearing clutter and maintaining organization.

• Maintain stock supplies during store hours while prioritizing guest availability.

• Promote a culture of safety and compliance in all interactions.

• Support guest services with compliance and safety in mind.

• Fulfill additional duties as required by business needs.

Additional Requirements:

• Accurate handling of checkout operations and transaction processes.

• Ability to efficiently move merchandise, including lifting items up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally.

• Consistent availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Capability to remain mobile throughout your shift.

• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions as necessary.
