Basic Job Functions:

The role of Product Manager includes but is not limited to coordinating with the Sheet Mill Group to maximize Nucors profitability by working with Sales, Production and Mill Metallurgical teammates to develop new product application opportunities and further develop Nucors participation in target markets. The role includes understanding and articulating Nucors SMG strategy, executing a comprehensive business plan, driving cost?efficient improvements and creating effective market studies. This position will travel extensively.

Nucor Steel West Virginias greenfield project is a new state?of?the?art sheet steel mill that will produce up to 3?million tons per year once fully operational. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located in Mason County, along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four year bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field
• Five years sales or marketing or leadership experience in the metals industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of steel flat rolled products and markets
• Degree in business, marketing, metallurgy or other engineering field related to the steel business
• Previous experience with customer support in either a sales or technical role
• Five years of experience in the metals industry
