G.A. West & Company has an immediate need for Aluminum Tig Welders in Apple Grove, WV. The position is expected to last 4-6 weeks, possibly longer. Per diem is available for those who qualify. See below for details:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment and tools (MIG and TIG)
• Review blueprints for specifications
• Weld, cut, and grind aluminum of different widths
• Weld various metal components together with efficiency and precision
• Perform various types of welds including straight lines, curves, and circles, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Finish and inspect products for quality
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and in adherence to quality guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding experience as a TIG Welder in a similar fabrication or manufacturing setting preferred
• MIG or TIG Certification (preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of different welding techniques, materials, and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent time management skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks
