- JOB SUMMARY
- The Patient Representative is a positive, creative, problem solver who helps drive patient experiences to the 99th percentile. This position interacts with and supports team members and Leaders in demonstrating behaviors that will drive best business outcomes.
- DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
- Rounds on patients and family members daily to ensure excellent service & quality care & shares rounding feedback with Team Members and Leaders
- Reinforces and recognizes team members and leaders behaviors that drive excellent service and quality care
- Creatively problem solves with patients, family members and KDHS Team Members and Leaders to quickly resolve any issues or concerns
- Looks for process improvements and makes suggestions for improvement
- EDUCATION/LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent required and 2 years' experience working in customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of empathy
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to de-escalate volatile situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years' experience working in customer service

- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers.

- PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery such as printer/copier

- Constantly required to maintain a stationary position when conducting patient rounds
- Constantly required to lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
