Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Aid in the installation or relocation of equipment.
• Work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
• Perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety rules.

Special Requirements:

• Pass Maintenance A test with a 70% or better score.
• Maintain regular attendance and work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.

Machines and Equipment Involved:

• Use a Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope, and other electrical measuring devices.
• Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, schematics, and diagrams.
• Use welding tools including MIG, TIG, arc, gas braze, and diagnostic equipment.

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Qualifications (skills, work experience):

• 1 to 5 years' experience preferred.
• Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
• Use welding equipment acetylene torch, stick, and MIG wire welder when needed.
• Be proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a proven mechanical ability.
• Use a computer for accessing and entering work orders.
• Rigging and lifting knowledge a plus.
