Job Responsibilities:
Education:
High School Graduate or GED/diploma/certification in building maintenance and/or construction typically obtained in a technical/vocational school and over three years of building trade job experience involving installation, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other skills related to building maintenance renovations and new construction.
Experience:
Minimum Field of Expertise: General experience in designated trade (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing). Two years' experience as a trade-related trainee may substitute for completion of a four year apprenticeship program. Additional one year minimum journeyman experience in specialty trade area.
Valid Driver's License required to legally operating a state vehicle to transport him/her, equipment, and other SOM personnel to remote work sites and respond to SOM emergencies.
