Assurance Advisor (Financial Services Office) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1645382), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

Provide audit services that demonstrate real value beyond regulatory requirements. Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS, including PCAOB rules and regulations, for private and public company financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Apply knowledge of SEC rules and regulations over financial reporting. Identify accounting and auditing issues on a timely basis. Provide accounting insights to clients in a clear and concise manner, including complex issues such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations and internal controls.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building in one or more of the following industries: Asset management (mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, or other investment vehicles); Insurance; Banking/capital markets; Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction (RHC). Must have 2 years of experience with a combination of: supervising planning, execution, reporting on audits of financial statements under U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP or IAS; supervising audit teams of two or more staff; recent audit experience with a PCAOB-registered public company. Must have 1 year of experience using audit documentation software. Must have one of the following: active US CPA certificate; or foreign certificate in accountancy with coursework/experience to obtain US CPA certification. Domestic travel up to 25% may be required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
