Apply coatings to a variety of metal fabrications and shapes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Loads and unloads trucks with forklift or overhead crane. - Performs inspections on welds and all aspects of products for proper measurement and visual appearance of materials. - Ability to perform wet and dry mil readings. - Clean material using grinders, scrappers and wire brushes. - Understands and uses proper rigging applications when using overhead cranes and forklifts. - Ability to identify various types of materials and able to calculate weight of part for safe handling. - Able to paint enamel top coats. - Able to take weather readings and complete required paperwork - Able to read and understand MSDS. - Able to sand blast. - Capable of completing various types of paperwork including load list. - Ability to correctly use the timekeeping system - Capable of completing various types of paperwork with 95 % accuracy - Efficiency evaluation of at least 90 % - Quality evaluation of a...Painter, Evaluation, Manufacturing, Skilled Trades
