Holman Upfitting has a great opportunity for a 2nd Shift Laser Operator to join our team in Huntington IN!
* Starting pay: $20 per hour + 2nd shift 10% premium
* Shift: 2pm- 12:30am (2nd shift)
* Four 10-hour days with a 3-day weekend

The Laser Machine Operator produces parts to specifications in an efficient and timely manner.
What will you do?
* Ensure proper nesting of parts for optimized output and reduced scrap.
* Inspect sheet metal for quality prior to beginning cutting operation.
* Inspect parts to ensure quality of laser cuts.
* Count and stack parts for next operation.
* Comply with all required safety protocols.
* Daily inspection and routine maintenance of equipment.
* Dispose of scraps in a safe manner.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize parts by type and size.
* Experience using measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers and/or material thickness gauges is strongly desired.
* Some experience with reading CAD drawings is a plus.
* Past experience reading plans, blueprints, drawings, and models is a plus.
* Must be detail orientated.
* Must be able to read and understand equipment operating instructions

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $17.12 - $23.12 USD per hour.
