Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving / Building Maintenance Associate

Location: Huntington, WV

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Pay: $16.00/hour

Long-Term Temporary Position

Manpower is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual for a Shipping & Receiving / Building Maintenance role with a local company specializing in water-related solutions , including the sales, service, and repair of pumps, motors, and control systems.

Job Duties Include:

Shipping & Receiving

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments

• Pick and prepare orders for outgoing shipments

• Load, secure, and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes

Building Maintenance & Custodial

• Clean and restock supplies in break rooms and restrooms

• Perform basic building maintenance (e.g., replacing light bulbs, minor repairs)

• Maintain grounds (sweeping, snow removal, landscaping upkeep)

What to Expect

• Physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor conditions

• Regular bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and ladder use

• Lifting up to 50 pounds

• A mix of active, hands-on tasks and routine duties

• A close-knit, friendly team that values reliability and teamwork

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment (or willingness to learn)

• Practical custodial and basic maintenance skills

• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
