About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take the lead in engineering design and documentation across a range of electrical systems for high-performance industrial applications. This role blends advanced technical responsibilities with cross-functional leadership. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams while mentoring designers and junior engineers.

What You'll Do

• Create and lead electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical
• Interpret, produce, and improve technical drawings, schematics, and P&ID documents
• Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and control systems (including PID loops)
• Perform advanced electrical calculations and ensure compliance with key industry standards (NEC, IEEE, MSHA)
• Participate in strategic design reviews and improve design processes company-wide
• Contribute to project planning, BOM management, and scheduling using ERP tools

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology (Master's preferred)
• 7-10+ years of hands-on electrical design experience
• Strong command of AutoCAD Electrical and experience mentoring others
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming and system troubleshooting
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills

Nice to Have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in heavy industrial, power systems, or energy sectors
• Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP platforms
