As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. Youll use your fandom knowledge to train new hires and support daily operations and sales goals.

What You'll Do

1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills.
2. Step in to lead on the sales floor when needed, supporting store management.
3. Open and close the store as required, managing store keys responsibly.
4. Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add-on sales using store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
5. Understand sales targets, KPIs such as UPT and ADT, and help achieve store goals.
6. Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, fixtures, and merchandising.
7. Share insights on fashion and music trends with management and HQ partners.
8. Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
9. Maintain organized stockrooms and keep the store tidy.
10. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run the store effectively.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

1. At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
2. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
3. High school diploma or GED.
4. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
