About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice Dean for Addiction Sciences to lead its vision of a world-class health system dedicated to outstanding addiction care and treatment. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and visionary leader, responsible for overseeing a team of professionals, supporting and growing existing staff and programs, and building new community initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, the medical school, and various community and academic partners to integrate addiction science efforts and advance the mission of high-quality addiction treatment, community support, education, and research. The Vice Dean will also be tasked with leading multidisciplinary teams for clinical treatment, promoting prevention-educational endeavors, and organizing and leading research initiatives. The ideal candidate for the Vice Dean position will be an innovative, agile, and collaborative leader with a strong background in addiction treatment, research, or a related field. They must have a proven track record of leadership and management and be passionate about creating a comprehensive strategy to address substance use issues. An MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field is required. The role demands a leader who is an advocate for the resolution of substance use problems, capable of influencing at the state and federal levels. The candidate should be prepared to promote awareness and solutions, and to encourage publications and presentations in prestigious venues nationally and internationally.
