Job Details

The Material Handling Utility position consists of, but is not limited to, the operations of shipping cranes, pole trucks, forklifts, banding coils, packaging coils both with an automated wrapping machine and by hand, assisting in the loading of rail cars, barges and trucks, general housekeeping of the department, or a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the shipping department. The Material Handling Utility position requires flexibility to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, some night shifts and weekends. As the construction phase progresses, the shift will change to a 4 on and 4 off shift schedule. Nucor Steel West Virginia is Nucors new sheet mill with advanced steel making capabilities and lower carbon emissions.
