Overview:

Radon Medical Imaging, a world-class distributor of radiology equipment and trusted independent medical device service provider, is seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage our Warehouse, Inventory and Harvesting Operations in Ona, WV. This role will lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes and contributing to the supply chain's efficiency, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management & Oversight:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of medical parts and equipment.
  • Implement organizational systems to streamline inventory retrieval and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Develop, document, and monitor QMS procedures to align with regulatory requirements and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse activity to ensure timely completion of tasks in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to ensure continuous performance improvement of warehouse operations.

Inventory Analysis & Forecasting:

  • Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess or obsolete items.
  • Develop and implement inventory forecasting models to anticipate demand, especially for high-turnover parts and critical equipment.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to forecast demand based on historical data, seasonality, and trends, ensuring optimal stock levels align with business needs.
  • Regularly update and report on key inventory metrics, including stock turns, forecast accuracy, and inventory value, to support strategic decision-making.

Quality Management System (QMS) Requirements:

  • Facilitate the site implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) within warehouse operations, ensuring full compliance with industry-specific regulatory standards for medical devices in concert with other QMS leaders and consultants
  • Train warehouse staff on QMS protocols and maintain a high standard of quality awareness and accountability throughout operations.

Pick/Pack/Ship Subprocess:

  • Supervise pick, pack, and ship operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate logistics to optimize shipping methods and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement quality checks at each stage of the process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Harvesting and Repair Subprocess:

  • Lead harvesting of usable parts from decommissioned equipment, optimizing the lifecycle of valuable components.
  • Oversee the repair process, ensuring parts meet quality and functionality standards before re-entry into inventory.
  • Track the repair lifecycle, maintain detailed records of parts, and analyze repair trends to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Trucks, Install Tool Kits, Rigging, etc.:

  • Ensure the maintenance and availability of specialty vehicles and equipment for support in deliveries, installations, and decommissions.
  • Manage tool and kit inventories, ensuring readiness for field deployments and minimizing downtime.
  • Provide support for delivery, installations, and deinstallations as needed.

Centralized Tools and Test Equipment:

  • Oversee inventory, calibration, and maintenance of centralized tools and test equipment.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored, in working condition, and readily available for field teams.

Safety Policy and Equipment:

  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, maintain safety equipment, and lead safety training initiatives to foster a culture of safety awareness.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory analysis, forecasting techniques, and demand planning within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Skilled in Excel and other analytical tools necessary for inventory analysis.
  • Experience with QMS implementation, regulatory compliance, and audit management within a medical device or regulated industry.
  • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems for inventory management, order fulfillment, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing people and processes in a matrixed organization.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and QMS requirements in a warehouse environment.
  • Background in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site position overseeing warehouse operations.
  • May require lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a warehouse environment.
  • May require unscheduled / short-notice afterhours and weekend support work and coordination
