Position: Parts Dispatcher/Counterperson

Reports to: Parts Manager

Department: Parts

Position Summary: The Dispatcher acts as the principal contact between the parts department and service technicians, pulls parts and prepare items for shipment, verifies accuracy of deliveries, and sends drivers to the appropriate locations to deliver parts in a timely manner. Provides customer satisfaction and maximize dealership sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be professional in appearance and conversations
  • Answering phones
  • Ordering Parts
  • Preparing Parts Orders
  • Checking in and receiving Parts
  • Tracking Parts purchases
  • Organizing Parts area
  • Communicating with customers, Service advisors, technicians, management and sales staff.
  • Keep appointments in timely manner
  • Keep paperwork organized and up to date
  • Stay current with GM and Mitsubishi training requirements
  • Perform Parts deliveries and pickups

Skills:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of automotive terminology (Not required)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license

Job Type - Full time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Shift & schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30
