Job Title: Utility Person

Classification: Hourly

Location: Huntington, WV

Job Summary:

Assists in the repair and fabrication of components for electro-mechanical equipment using manual lathes, shapers, drill presses, grinders as well as electroplating. Must apply knowledge of machining procedures, mechanics, mathematics, metal properties and layout.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to use hand tools to assist with repair of mechanical/electrical components and assemblies.
• Use of measuring devices, (i.e.: ruler, micrometer, venier, etc.).
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under general supervision.

Experience, Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• May be required to meet certain certifications in a specialized area and have at least 0 - 2 years of experience.
• Ability to read/follow verbal work instructions and complete required documents.
